Building brighter futures for children in our community through compassion, support, and opportunity
What Kids Need Moncton is dedicated to ensuring that every child in our community has access to the essential resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive. We believe that all children deserve a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Through our programs and partnerships, we work to bridge gaps in resources, provide educational support, and create pathways to success for children and families facing challenges in the Greater Moncton area.
We ensure every child starts the school year ready to learn by providing backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other essential school supplies to families in need. Our annual drive helps hundreds of students begin each academic year with confidence.
No child should go hungry. Our nutrition program provides healthy meals and snacks to children who might otherwise face food insecurity, working with local schools and community centers to ensure kids have the fuel they need to learn and play.
This project provides social workers at local hospitals with essentials for both Baby and Mom. We ensure that new families have the support they need during those crucial early days, providing diapers, clothing, blankets, and other necessities to help them get started.
During New Brunswick's cold winters, we distribute warm clothing, boots, and winter gear to children in need, ensuring every child can play outside safely and attend school comfortably regardless of weather conditions.
We bring joy to children during the holiday season through gift programs, special events, and family support services. Every child deserves to experience the magic of the holidays, and we work to make that possible.
Beyond basic needs, we provide access to books, educational toys, and cultural experiences that broaden horizons and inspire learning. We believe enrichment opportunities should be available to all children.
Your generous donations help us support children and families in our community. We accept both physical item donations and monetary contributions.
